I probably blundered so much opportunities for in depth understanding when I first went / got to level 60 in wanikani… I’m preparing for the 2nd attempt to go through it again, with a lot more push to get the little things. With all the new updates they have I feel it’s going to be much easier. At the end of level 60… that was only the beginning. Keep up the consistent push and all this starts forming together. I am very grateful I went through all of it, as I can read a lot of stuff here in Japan because of it. A Little and often make much.

Yeah this one gets me even to this day when talking with neighbors and friends. I’m a lot better at it nowadays from practice. Glad it was helpful.

I still use this to this day… living in Japan I catch myself going through this and it works pretty well when I get caught up on which one I should use when talking with neighbors etc.

I feel as though I was a tad lazy about learning the basic rules behind vocabulary formation using onyomi and kunyomi only to be further battered by characters with several DIFFERENT onyomi readings and I come THIS close to tearing my hair out. But even at my level 5 status, enough is starting to sink in that I have a glint of hope.
